Special Events Calendar
With the wide variety of events and activities here at Blackbeard's, our pirates need a chart to navigate the vacation course. Along with everything on the calendar, there are always surprises and spontaneous festivities happening all the time.

Our signature nights
We have so many events and activities that we thought you might like a menu describing everything we do.
-
Bikini Contest
Our famous Bikini Contest, with over 300 contests under our belt and counting. Sixteen lovely chicas dance their way around the pool and bar to music they pick themselves — on the tables, into the pool, under ice-cold beer. Three guests judge, and first, second and third place win prizes. But everyone is a winner!
-
Miss Universe Contest
Miss Universe, Blackbeard's style. Six of our beautiful ladies compete in two categories, Evening Wear and Baby Doll Lingerie, for the crown — pole ballet, dancing on the bar and other spur-of-the-moment antics included. Everyone gets to vote, and the dance floor fills up after.
-
Show Us Your Colors & Dance Show
Our ladies arrive all dressed in the same colour, with great music, special dance shows, disco lights, mirrors, a dance pole and great libations. Our pirates' verdict? AAARRGGHH!
-
Mardi Gras Costume Night
We may not have a Bourbon Street, but we do have a Rum Avenue! Bring a costume, a mask or make-up: everyone dresses up as their favourite fantasy — gypsy, pirate, schoolgirl — and the Crow's Nest gets rocking.
-
Baby Doll Show & Raffle
Grab a few pesos, a cold beer and a good seat: our beauties put on a dance show that will leave you breathless. Buy a raffle ticket to win prizes — the grand prize is a private dance, and you keep the baby doll.
-
Saturday Night Fever
Cool down from the contest, then head upstairs with all our shipmates for a great mix of music, disco lights and great libations. Bring your own favourite music and dance the night away.
-
Those Other Nights
Gringos can't dance? Our pirates can. Merengue and Bachata nights, Game Night, Pajama Party, Hot Shorts Night — you never know what the shipmates will come up with next.
-
Poolside Afternoons
Serious play time in our lagoon: volleyball, contests, water races and who knows what else. Crank up the music, grab a cold beer — a little Margaritaville in pirate heaven.
-
College & NFL Football
Any game you want to see, on the HD flat screens in the Drunken Parrot. Popcorn is free and the beer is always ice cold. You wanna make a bet, pirate?
-
Super Bowl Weekend
Show Us Your Colors on Thursday, the Baby Doll Show on Friday, the Bikini Contest on Saturday — then a special BBQ menu, football pools, shipmate cheerleaders, free popcorn, RD$75 Mamajuana shots and a halftime show on Super Bowl Sunday.
-
Sunday BBQ
Every Sunday afternoon the grill fires up at the Drunken Parrot. Grab a plate, a cold beer and a spot by the pool — the best way to wind down the weekend with your shipmates.
-
Sunday Decompression Day
A great breakfast, then the beach: catch some rays, read a book — you earned it. At night, a little Jacuzzi action under the waterfalls, and ring the bell for bar service.
